Mike is a wonderful storyteller. He has me captivated by his knowledge and rolling in laughter with his role playing and interjections of Monty Python references. Mike makes me feel like part of the broader Italian famiglia especially when I hear references to people in my ancestry like Tancred de Hauteville and his son Robert Guiscard, both of whom are great grandfathers of mine from long, long ago. Now, I am eagerly waiting to hear about the de Medici of Firenze and the Savoy of Turin, also great grandfathers and great grandmothers of mine.
