Real life Expats living and working in Italy.
This is one of my favorite podcasts! They are “normal” people who choose to start a new life in Italy. Generally I listen to podcasts when I can’t sleep and fall to sleep with them. This is not true with this one. I listen to it wide awake and love every episode. Ashley makes it sound fun and colorful. She sees the humor in everything. She does the blogs and videos. She is also attempting to write a book. Jason is the serious cook and gardener and a bit of a curmudgeon (maybe because of his friend the Doctor 😃). People drive him crazy if they are too cute, lazy, inefficient, or stupid. I would like to hear more about his recipes and cooking. Together they are a perfect balance of complex people who love what they do and make you want to do what they do. They make living in a agrotourismo. Book a room with them, you’ll love it like we did.

Welllll Helloooo!!
So glad to wake up to the latest news at La Tavola Marche! This podcast is always so full of joy (thank you Ashley) mishaps & mischief (thank you Jason) and razor retorts from our beloved grump (thank you Gaggi) and now a newest cast member LeRoy. Keep the podcasts coming! You make my day and I will see you in you special enclave soon ! Merry Christmas!! 🎄 🎄🎄

Great Real Podcast!!!
I really enjoy this podcast. So much information and so much of Italian life. Such an honest and beautiful stories about living the Italian dream. Reminds me of living in Scotland.

Entertaining!
Love this podcast about life on a small Italian agriturismo. It’s so funny, over the years Jason is getting more crotchety-he’s becoming Dr Gaggi’s mini-me! Ashley is still her upbeat, hilarious self. Enjoy these glimpses behind the scenes!

So good!
Not usually a fan of conversation based podcasts. Started listening because my husband and I are interested in moving to Italy. I used to live in Italy for college and we go back for annual visits, but would like to return permanently or seasonally. So much of this resonates with my personal experience in Europe and lots of good info, entertaining.

I love podcasts and you guys are now in my go to rotation. I’m not sure what’s better...Ashley laughing before telling a story, Jason being grumpy about something or hearing stories about your neighbors. Almost every episode brings me joy. Thank you!!

Great!
I’m an expat in Italy and I love your podcast!

Love it!
My favorite part of your podcast is when one of you can only think of a word in Italian and the other has to think of the word in English!

Podcast from Italy Ashley and Jason Bartner
I really enjoy Ashley and Jason’s podcasts but wish they were more often! I’ve only travelled to Italy once but since returning, cannot stop dreaming of going back. Listening to their casual and humor-filled banter makes me smile and even laugh out loud at times! I enjoy hearing about living life and experiencing Italy in their way! Good luck to Ashley and Jason as you navigate through the pandemic. Karen from Pennsylvania

Can’t get enough!!
Ashley & Jason are Living my dream life! (Except for the cooking part -Dean can do all the cooking😂) Living vicariously until I can make Italy work. In the meantime I listen to the Podcast & Follow on Instagram. Listen & go there in person, it does not disappoint, but my philosophy is that “Italy NEVER Disappoints. 🇮🇹

It’s Great
I want more ‘Word of the Day’. One shot, one kill!

Podcast
Great podcast! I feel like going to Italy now. :)

Meraviglioso!
Absolutely love the podcast, especially Ashley's book! Self-publish I say, it's fabulous!!! Always a joy to listen to the daily life in Italy. I hope to visit the farm one of these days, but until then, I will patiently wait for each podcast!

Giving American expats a good name
Great podcast. Joyful, fun, informative, just seem like Americans who are fully invested in Italian living but don’t pretend to be Italian in the process. Highly recommended for people wanting to hear about the full vista of living and working abroad long term.

where are you guys????
where are you guys?? we miss you!hope you are okay.

1000 thanks!
Not sure how to spell Mille gratcie but your podcast is the best. So much heart and soul. Ashley’s Stan to Jason’s Ollie. The chemistry between you two is immense. Two adventurers looking to get all of the juice out of life in your little slice of paradise called La Marche. Please please keep the podcasts coming.

Great Educational Entertainment
Love learning about your life in Italy. Having moved from the north, to a small farm in rural Florida, I feel (some of) your pain, as even after 20 years, it sometimes seems like a foreign country...lol. Have listened to every podcast on the app, but they start at 72. Where can I find #s 1-71?

Love it!
Next best thing to being there.

Awesome insight to life in Italia!
Heart this podcast, love the stories of the couple building a life in la marche Makes me miss Italy and want to see la marche thru their eyes and meet all the people in their life (like dr. Gagi) that they talk about on the podcast

My Italian soap opera, in a good way
A friend of mine got me listening to Ashley and Jason, years ago. I’ve really come to enjoy their podcast and look forward to downloading them. I have even referred a friend who vacationed with them and had a great time.

Awesome Podcast
Ashley and Jason tell great tales about expat life in Italy! The cooking advice and meal ideas are great, and simple to replicate at home. Would definitely recommend to anybody who is curious about life in Italy, traveling, or learning how to make amazing dishes.

La Tavola Greatness
You guys rock...

Fun audio postcards from Italy
I have listened to every episode, and I love when Ashley & Jason post a new episode detailing their lives, work, adventures, and misadventures as American expats working in the Italian countryside. I am terribly jealous of the life they’ve carved out for themselves, and I love daydreaming about doing the same as I listen to their stories. You can tell they put a lot of joy into what they do as well as their podcasts. Their podcast is one of my favorite things about the internet.

The greatest ever!
I have been listening to Jason & Ashley since their first podcast. They have become so popular and loved by us all. Can't wait to visit the farm! The on line cooking classes are the greatest!!! LINDA-Pacifica, CA.

Great listening.
I have started listening your guy's banter and it is hilarious! I dream of the day where I can become an expat! Soon... Ashley... so when are you going to have this book ready for me to read? Haven't heard you mention it lately.

So Friendly, So Fun!
Jason and Ashley crack me up! Their adventures (and mis-adventures) are hilarious, and their perspective on life joyful. Stitcher recommended them to me, and I recommend the podcast to everyone. They feel like friends, share great travel and cooking tips, and make any arduous task go by. Beware, however! Italy wasn't near the top of my list for travels, and now I'm seriously considering visiting them… this could happen to you, too :)

Excellent Podcast
I love the stories and totally want to be there for Pizza Night sometime

More please!
I miss listening to you guys! When's the next podcast??!!

Late to la Tavola
Just discovered your podcast last week while looking for diversions before a long car trip. Got half-way through the catalog in a weekend and what a trip! I've read and heard many different experiences on travelers/ex-Pats in Italy. This one of the more entertaining, and dare I say educational (?), perspectives that I've enjoyed in some time. Combine a very fun couple who bring interesting and informed perspectives on food and travel, with a very respectful take-it-as-it-comes appreciation for local culture, and you get great content that is always enjoyable. Ironically, I had just returned from spending 2 weeks in Italy. Can't decide if your podcast makes me hurt more in missing the country, or helps bring me a little bit closer with each adventure. And the blog is great too!

Great Podcast...
I look forward to your program...it lets me escape to Italy! Keep the programs coming and I look forward to visting one day! Ciao for now!
