Legend has it...that in the 17th century a valiant pirate turned knight was rewarded by his king with a prestigious estate that extended from the mountains just outside of Palma to the other side of the island on Mallorca’s North Coast. The knight, Don Francisco de Net, searched for the finest location within his estate upon which to build his family mansion. He chose a site on the crest of a hill overlooking the tranquil village of Puigpunyent. The village located in a hidden valley surrounded by majestic mountains thrived while serving the large Net estate.
The hotel’s new tree house is a first for Mallorca’s luxury rural hotels and is designed around an existing ancient tree on the Son Net Estate in the front of the hotel’s main façade.
The Son Net Tree House offers guests the opportunity to enjoy a unique “bird’s eye view” of the Serra de Tramuntana Mountains and the views across the village of Puigpunyent and countryside below.
The Treehouse is available for private functions and meals for up to 8 people and cocktails for up to 10 people.
