Late to la Tavola
Just discovered your podcast last week while looking for diversions before a long car trip. Got half-way through the catalog in a weekend and what a trip! I've read and heard many different experiences on travelers/ex-Pats in Italy. This one of the more entertaining, and dare I say educational (?), perspectives that I've enjoyed in some time. Combine a very fun couple who bring interesting and informed perspectives on food and travel, with a very respectful take-it-as-it-comes appreciation for local culture, and you get great content that is always enjoyable. Ironically, I had just returned from spending 2 weeks in Italy. Can't decide if your podcast makes me hurt more in missing the country, or helps bring me a little bit closer with each adventure. And the blog is great too!
Great Podcast...
I look forward to your program...it lets me escape to Italy! Keep the programs coming and I look forward to visting one day! Ciao for now!
new to the podcast
We are travelling to Italy this summer so I was looking for podcasts to listen while I drive. I am so happy to have found yours and look forward to all new episodes even as i catch up on the previous ones!
Grass is greener...
As lovers of Italy who are lucky enough to visit every other year, your podcast is a connection to picture ourselves there between trips. While I'd actually rather be there, even with the cold weather, water and road challenges...it has been nice to have 80 f degree weather in Florida this week :). Looking forward to your next podcast.
Brilliant, intrepid
Getting a firm foothold in Italy!
Questi sono così divertente!!
Mi piacciono molto questi podcast, sono una piccola fetta d'Italia quando mi manca l'Italia!!
Fun.....and insightful
Love this podcast - a year ago there was a chance we were going to relocate to Venice. This podcast really made us look forward to the adventure. Unfortunately we did not - but I travel there regularly for work - and the tips, tricks, phrases, insights into culture and life in Italy, plus the odd few phrases have made the trips far more homely.
Fantastic!!
I discovered this podcast after we planned our trip to Italy this summer. Even though we are not traveling to this part of Italy on this trip this podcast is great fun to listen to and it provides a unique insight into life in Italy. Our next trip to Italy will definitely include a stop at La Tavola Marche. I can't wait for more from this wonderful team!

Life in La Marche
Ashley and Jason are an inspiration for anyone who wants to live a dream and follow their bliss! I have visited their slice of heaven twice and on those days when I need a little bit of what they have created I can do two things; get lost in the memory of my visits or listen to updates of their journey together via Podcast from Italy: La Tavola Marche! As you were asking for suggestions for topics can you talk a little bit about your life before moving to Italy in terms of how you have used your skills/knowledge to prepare you for what you are doing now? You operate as a brilliant team. How did that harmony develop with Ash as a brilliant marketing/host and Jason as a talented chef/host? I need to visit again but until then....Thank goodness for your podcast. Keep 'em coming!
La Tavola Marche #16
Ashley and Jason - Brava/Bravo! I especially enjoyed the advice on moving to Italy. Not sure it would ever happen, but it's a wonderful fantasy. You are great storytellers. From your recipe blog - Am hoping to do the lamb shanks this weekend; if I can find them at the grocery store! Thanks for being there! Dave
Fun discovery!
I just discovered this podcast earlier this week and I highly recommend it. Fun stories from American expats who run a farm in eastern Italy. Contains quirky stories, cultural lessons, and the hosts have very energetic & engaging personalities. Best of luck and keep the podcasts coming! We may have to visit you someday.
